5.0-beta.2

5.0-beta.2 is the second beta round of WISECP 5.0: five new language packs, the 3.x to 5.0 in-place upgrade wizard, new payment and accounting integrations, MySQL 8 compatibility and more than fifty fixes reported during the first beta.

Canal beta WISECP

Nuevas funciones

  • 3.x to 5.0 in-place upgrade wizard: an existing 3.x installation is upgraded in place after a pre-flight check and licence verification, in nine languages
  • Installation and upgrade wizards were redesigned: a shared layout, keyboard-first steps and texts in nine languages; the wizard opens directly on its first step
  • New language packs: Spanish, Italian, Brazilian Portuguese, Dutch and Russian (interface, storefront themes and notification templates), all shipped enabled
  • German and French notification templates are now fully translated (subject, SMS and e-mail bodies); they were English copies before
  • Lexware Office addon: invoices are sent to Lexware Office automatically (draft or finalized); the Lexware number and official PDF come back to the invoice, with status, retry and status-check controls
  • Flutterwave payment module (hosted payment page); the older RavePay module is marked as legacy
  • Product requirement options can be grouped into families with a version picker (e.g. Ubuntu → 22.04 / 24.04)
  • Modules can attach a badge to a client record (filter:admin.client_badges); it appears in the client list, the info card and the client detail header
  • Feedback reports can now include files, links and the installation's own error records
  • Standard SMTP: the authentication method can be chosen (Automatic / PLAIN / LOGIN / CRAM-MD5) and the connection test reports the method used
  • METUnic: the credit balance is shown on the module settings page and imported domains keep their provider service id

Mejoras

  • Fresh installs ship the WStyle home hero slider ready: three starter slides with their images and video
  • Site Colors now apply to the website theme as well; the theme's Appearance colours write to the same setting
  • Notification bell: click a row to open its target, dismiss single rows, clear all, 30-day window
  • Health check now scans the whole product tree for unwritable folders and reports daily
  • AI Assistant: model lists come straight from each provider via your API key (new Refresh Models button); an incomplete catalog update no longer empties provider lists, and non-chat models are hidden
  • Installation package is leaner: stray files, log files and comment-only lines are no longer shipped
  • Product add-on form: the "Sync with Product" switch is now "Offer by Product Cycle", with clearer help text on per-cycle pricing
  • Notification e-mails: label/value rows stack vertically on narrow screens instead of a fixed-width label column
  • WStyle and Basic themes now ship Manrope as the default typeface
  • Product add-on API settings dialog: parameter rows use the panel's setting-row layout and module logos render at their intended size
  • ResellerClub: the API Key field now notes that the server IP must be whitelisted first
  • Control Web Panel module display name updated (formerly CentOS Web Panel)
  • Turkish dictionary cleanup: plural forms for two service counters, leftover empty keys removed from module dictionaries
  • English interface text uses the spelling "program" consistently

Seguridad

  • KeyHelp: a customer could see every mailbox, database, FTP user and domain on the server; the view is now limited to the customer's own account
  • Credentials embedded in an error message are no longer included in feedback reports
  • The error log no longer stores a payment gateway's callback token in the recorded request path

Correcciones de errores

  • MySQL 8 compatibility: fresh installation, the admin dashboard after login, service cancellation and suspension, one-time orders, the storefront domain page and the SMS phonebook all failed on MySQL 8 servers
  • Cron: an installation whose cron runs hourly was treated as a restored backup on every run (queues wiped, tasks postponed a day); hosts whose background workers never report back no longer log a warning every few minutes
  • Adding an option to a product requirement could silently overwrite an existing option
  • Garanti Virtual POS: 3-D payments were declined, test mode pointed at a dead host, the bank's decline reason never reached the customer, and callbacks wrote PHP warnings to the error log
  • Payment method country restrictions were ignored at checkout
  • A declined card left no trace: the checkout page said nothing and the provider's reason was never recorded
  • Card-verification refunds could not be scheduled and the gateway notification was answered with HTTP 500
  • Tools > Reminders, Tools > Actions and Website > Messages opened a "System error" page on PHP 8.2 and 8.3
  • Install wizard: the server check now runs before the licence step, so a PHP below 8.2 is reported instead of an empty HTTP 500
  • A language shipped for the first time in an update was not installed and left an empty language folder behind; a new language now also receives its per-language table rows (countries, departments, catalogue names)
  • A single unreadable file no longer fails the whole backup
  • Social sign-in failed on any language served with a URL prefix
  • Service detail: the product group and category links were wrong for hosting, server and software groups, and the category page answered 500
  • Domain import from a registrar failed for modules that read the domain from the bound service
  • WHMCS import failed on knowledgebase articles with more useful votes than total votes
  • Importing clients with an empty city or state field stopped with a database error
  • WISECP-to-WISECP import stopped at the invoice step on add-on invoices; the failure line now names the source record
  • Language list showed two languages ticked as default after a 3.x upgrade
  • The Status box on the language edit screen was ignored, so editing a disabled language switched it back on
  • Virtualizor: hostname and root password requirements were not offered, so VMs were created with a random hostname
  • Client area still showed ticket links while the support ticket system was switched off
  • Software groups could not be created through the admin API; a digits-only category address broke list pagination
  • Blog and reference categories could not be created: every new slug was reported as already in use
  • Domain group settings: the extension fields offered no suggestions and answered "no results" for extensions already in the catalog
  • Admin WHOIS lookup showed available .fr names as registered; registry refusals now answer Unknown
  • Dynadot pricing import now brings multi-year prices and the registry term window
  • Whole-number currency formats (1,234 / 1.234) were rounded to two decimals by the browser formatter
  • Dashboard amounts showed "0null" or dropped the currency code for a currency with no prefix and no suffix
  • Currency edit reported a country conflict as "Array" instead of naming the currency the country belongs to
  • Currency suffix symbols were printed flush against the amount (0Ft, 0.00Lek, 0,00zł); a suffix now always gets one space
  • Fresh installs no longer come with a pre-filled company name and address in the language texts
  • Notification templates: stray Turkish text removed from the English, German and French trees; the Turkish tree now includes the GDPR request template
  • Turkish data removal request notification was sent with an empty body
  • German, French and Spanish: missing texts on the order form (requirement families) and on the Automation page were completed
  • Formatting in staff ticket replies (quotes, headings, code, tables) was shown flat in the client area
  • Ticket reply editor: text pasted from another page or document lost its bold, code block and other formatting
  • Tickets opened through the admin API: the first message now goes through the reply-author filter and signature like every reply
  • Ticket messages: links are always shown as links and open in a new tab; image attachments appear as thumbnails and opening one no longer shifts the page
  • Paid invoices were listed by creation date instead of payment date; the Paid filter now shows the most recently paid first, refunds by refund date
  • Support summary cards counted tickets opened in the period instead of answered or closed ones, and opening a card listed tickets oldest first
  • Read tickets stayed bold in the support list
  • Renewal price was shown on services that can never be renewed
  • Storefront: features of a product in a horizontal-list category were printed as raw JSON instead of the column values
  • Product groups of the generic kind printed SSL certificate badges, headings and the certificate price note on the catalog page
  • Page "Hide Sidebar" now takes effect on the website; background previews no longer break for group-page uploads and WebP/AVIF
  • Theme Settings > Homepage: the Domain Name Registration settings link opened a 404 page
  • Menu management: Mega Menu could not be enabled on an existing item
  • WAnalytics maps showed OpenStreetMap "Access blocked" tiles instead of the map
  • Checkout: the embedded gateway pane stayed on its spinner after a billing-country change; switching between payment methods now slides instead of snapping
  • Newsletter consent: the Privacy Policy phrase looked like a link but was not clickable when no privacy page is mapped
  • Cart: removing a line no longer makes the remaining rows jump
  • Account detail tab strips were cut off instead of scrolling
  • Notification template preview scrolled inside its own frame; the mouse wheel did not scroll the page
  • DNS Zone Editor and other tool tables rendered values in a monospace face one step below the panel scale
  • Service Management sidebar: the active tool no longer shows a heavy border
  • ApisCP module logged two PHP warnings per cron run when the panel was unreachable
  • Hosts with open_basedir: the backup binary lookup and the health page no longer write PHP warnings on every run
  • Payment gateway settings page wrote PHP warnings for a gateway shipped without a settings block (Bank Transfer)
